Illustrated relations between Iceland and Finland - 75 years

Iceland and Finland celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations in 2022. Bilateral relations between our countries are excellent and characterized by mutual understanding. Views on priorities in international relations are probably more convergent than ever before. Over the 75 years we have seen relations flourish in culture and arts, trade and people-to-people contacts. We have also experienced a remarkable rise in the standard of living in our countries. Both Finland and Iceland emphasize the importance of being active members in the international community as well as upholding strong Nordic cooperation.

The exhibition uses humor to illustrate the relations between our countries: diplomacy, well-known national characteristics, memorable events and above all, the sense of unity with which we meet the future together.
