You can host your event at the National Museum on Suðurgata. The Photo Gallery and the Lecture Hall are suitable for various occasions such as conferences, receptions, meetings, and more.

Lecture Hall

The Lecture Hall accommodates up to 56 people, with the option to add extra chairs if needed. The room is equipped with a computer, projector, screen, and sound system for audio and visual presentations. Lecturers bring their content on a memory stick (PC environment). The staff provides various forms of assistance, but if technical support is required, please request in advance.

If catering is offered in connection with your event, refreshments can be served in the cafeteria, the Photo Gallery, or the lobby.

The Photo Gallery

A beautiful open space on the ground floor of the museum. It is an ideal venue for receptions or similar gatherings, accommodating up to 150 guests.

Light refreshments can be served, and musical performances are allowed. The Photo Gallery showcases contemporary art exhibitions, providing a unique and special ambiance to the space.
