Join us at the National Museum of Iceland on Culture Night, Saturday, 22 August, for a full day of exciting activities for all ages.

The Viking reenactment group Rimmugýgur will once again set up camp outside the museum, bringing the medieval world to life, as they have done for many years. It's an experience you won't want to miss!

Visitors can also enjoy:

A special guided tour of the exhibition "A Voyage in History – The Bridal Costume" led by Guðrún Hildur Rosenkjær, historian and master's graduate in dressmaking and costume construction. A family sing-along session featuring songs about dogs and cats. The museum's exhibitions, open throughout the day. A wide selection of unique items in the museum shop.

Admission is free all day, and we look forward to welcoming visitors of all ages for one of the most enjoyable days of the summer!
