On Saturday, March 15, Mariola Alicja Fiema, a Polish language teacher and lecturer of Polish Studies at the University of Iceland, will present the second of four lectures in the series "Poland in 4 Seasons,” dedicated to spring.

In this series of four informal lectures, Mariola Alicja Fiema will present exceptional tourist attractions in Poland that captivate visitors all year round. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the hidden treasures of the country and explore its natural beauty and cultural diversity.

Spring is a time of renewal when nature slowly awakens, and Poland’s orchards, meadows, and forests burst into bloom with soft pastel colors, filling the air with fragrance and birdsong. It’s also a season rich in vibrant Easter traditions, with each region of Poland celebrating in its own unique way. Meanwhile, cities come to life, shaking off the winter chill and buzzing with fresh energy.

The upcoming event is dedicated to anyone curious about Polish Easter customs, eager to admire traditional regional costumes, discover Poland's Amazonia and other top spots for nature and birdwatching, or plan a short spring city break.

At the final meeting in the "Poland in 4 Seasons" series, participants will also discover some surprising culinary facts about Poland, receive travel tips for exploring the country, and enjoy a special surprise to wrap up the session!

The event is free of charge, so feel free to extend this invitation to your family and friends.
