The warehouse at Hofsós, Pakkhúsið, is among the oldest ones of its kind in Iceland. It is a log house with a high, black-tarred roof. Pakkhúsið was built in 1777.

This warehouse, known as Pakkhúsið, stands as one of the oldest of its kind in Iceland. Constructed as a log house with a distinctive high, black-tarred roof, it dates to 1777. The building features a storage area on the loft of the second floor, complete with doors designed for the movement of goods in and out of the structure.

Pakkhúsið, situated in the beautiful town of Hofsós in Skagafjörður, is a notable landmark. Although visitors are unable to enter the house, Pakkhúsið is worth a visit.
