Í eina sæng was released in connection with an exhibition at the National Museum in 2004. In it, four of the museum's experts write articles that shed light on the many facets of Icelandic weddings. The book contains a wealth of knowledge about artifacts, bridal houses, catering, banquet customs, goose and chop parties and much more in the past and present. Here, people in marriage meditation are allowed to learn about the interesting aspects of Icelandic wedding ceremonies.
